GRAPE VARIETY :  Chardonnay


ORIENTATION: South, foot of the VOLNAY hills.


CHARACTERISTICS: This wine comes from a vine planted in 1988. It is fresh and sharp and can be drunk young with seafood or a “pain de poisson” (a savoury fishy cake) as starters.

After 2 or 3 years of cellaring, honey fragrances will develop and the wine will get round.



AGEING: Matured in more than five years old oak barrels so that it gets fine and subtle. To be drunk young but can be kept for about 10 years.

BOURGOGNE Chardonnay Light and voluptuous this wine is to be drunk with shellfish, fresh cheese or “charcuterie” (ham, cooked meat etc..)
