GRAPE VARIETY : Chardonnay
ORIENTATION: South, foot of the VOLNAY hills.
CHARACTERISTICS: This wine comes from a vine planted in 1988. It is fresh and sharp and can be drunk young with seafood or a “pain de poisson” (a savoury fishy cake) as starters.
After 2 or 3 years of cellaring, honey fragrances will develop and the wine will get round.
AGEING: Matured in more than five years old oak barrels so that it gets fine and subtle. To be drunk young but can be kept for about 10 years.
