GRAPE VARIETY: Selection of the finest vine plants, planted in 1948.
ORIENTATION: A quite deep limestone-clay soil, with good rooting, exposed South-Est.
At the bottom of the village: The plot is enclosed between the walls of the Château de Meursault (south), houses ( West) and a row of trees (East).
CHARACTERISTICS: A noble wine which has proven itself. The great age of the vine assures an excellent and regular maturity. The steering of the lees, the full bodied characteristic and recent barrels give to the wine fragrances of vanilla, butter, cinnamon, apricot and hazelnut. It will accompany your most elaborated fish dishes and certain kinds of white meat with creamy sauces.
AGEING: This wine should be kept for about 4 or 5 years in your cellar before you can enjoy it but another 10 years will give it time to develop fine
