GRAPE VARIETY: Pinot noir
ORIENTATION:
Top of the hills, south east, on a not very deep limestone soil at 30 centimeters from a reef.
My grandfather planted these vines 50 years ago.
Small yields due to the age of the vines and to the fact that they are planted in a rough and stony environment.
CHARACTERISTICS: This strong, generous and powerful wine is certainly one of the jewels of our BOURGOGNE.
This elegant wine must be kept at least 7 to 10 years before it can be tasted. It will accompany your finest dishes as well as the regional big game ( wild boar, roe dear )
AGEING: Of a great cellaring potential, this wine can be kept from 15 to 20 years.
100% matured in oak barrels.
